This policy explains how Revio AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects the personal data of people who interact with our AI booking assistant, George. George operates on behalf of barber shops, hair salons, nail salons, beauty studios, and other grooming and beauty businesses (“our clients”) in the United Kingdom.

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

Revio AI is operated by Eitan Elbazis, a sole trader registered in Israel. We provide AI-powered booking services to UK-based barber shops, salons, and beauty businesses.

For data protection purposes, we act as a data processor on behalf of the barber shop, salon, or beauty business you are contacting (the data controller). For data we collect directly through our website, we are the data controller.

When you visit our website

We do not use cookies or tracking technologies on our website. We do not collect analytics data. If you contact us via WhatsApp from the website, the data described above applies.

4. Who we share your data with

We share your personal data only with service providers who help us operate the booking system. Each provider processes data under a contract that requires UK GDPR-equivalent protections.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or marketing companies.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on one or more of the following safeguards: UK adequacy decisions where available, standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), or the provider’s binding corporate rules and certifications (such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001).

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:

How to exercise your rights

You can exercise your rights directly within your WhatsApp or voice conversation with George:

Send /privacy to view what data we hold and how we use it.

Send /export to request a copy of your booking data.

Send /delete to have your session and booking records anonymised.

You can also contact us by email at eitan.elbazis@revioai.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

When you send /delete, your conversation session is removed immediately and your booking records are anonymised (your name is replaced with “REDACTED” and your phone number is replaced with an irreversible hash). This cannot be undone.

8. Data security

We protect your data using encryption in transit (TLS) for all communications, encrypted database connections, tenant isolation ensuring each business’s data is kept separate, access controls limiting who can view personal data, and regular review of our security practices.

No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours and inform you without undue delay where required.

9. Children

Our service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you (for example, via a message in your next conversation with George).
